At Tairgwaith Primary School we are so proud of the fantastic country we live in and want to celebrate this by speaking and celebrating the Welsh language and culture! As a school, we are following Y Siarter Iaith journey alongside the New Curriculum for Wales. We started this journey back in 2018 where we achieved the Bronze Award / Gwobr Efydd but due to lockdown we had to postpone our mission towards gaining the Silver Award / Gwobr Arian. Now post Covid, we can set about gaining that award and are really looking forward to planning and organizing competitions, playground games, events and activities to ensure the whole school, pupils, staff, parents and community are part of a bilingual environment.
